The situation is fascinating, and most of us would never know about it without your reporting. Thank you for keeping us informed. At least as informed as is possible in the fog of war.

If there weren't so many innocent lives disrupted, you could almost see events scripted as a Hollywood comedy.

Thanks, Andy. I appreciate the support and I try to be objective as possible, but sometimes I want to pull my hair out because we all know that this war was so easy to avoid. But as we all know, evil people in the White House need this war…

Re. your characterization of NATO leadership: In an interview, Karin Kneissl described EU and NATO diplomats as "children" -- and unintelligent ones at that. She said, "If you want to talk to adults, you have to go to Moscow." As Austrian FM, she has first hand experience.

I'm still trying to connect "out of band." Did you see an email? Happy to send paper through postal mail if you prefer. Just looking for privacy.

That’s good to know. Confirms what we can glean from brief videos of those dimwits. Thanks for email. My apologies for not getting back sooner. Will answer.

I am an engineer and scientist; I am aware how little I know about international relations, etc. So for most of my life, I accepted that people in positions of authority "knew what they were doing." But one does not need an advanced degree in anything to see intellectual laziness and inconsistency. These are sure signs of incompetence in any field.

"Looking back at the worst times, it always seems that they were times in which there were people who believed with absolute faith and absolute dogmatism in something. And they were so serious in this matter that they insisted that the rest of the world agree with them. And then they would do things that were directly inconsistent with their own beliefs in order to maintain that what they said was true." - Richard Feynman
