Thanks for the excellent research and great articles, John! I have been regularly reading your publications and articles since March 2020 and have been convinced more than once of your insight and talent as an analyst. And now we see the consequences of the covid lockdown policy began to manifest itself in the fall of banks, which you warned about back in March 2020.
Thank you, my friend. I very much appreciate your support and kind words. It's been a pleasure to walk this intellectual journey with you over these difficult years. I always appreciate your comments.
John I've enjoyed reading you very much since I discovered your Blog. I get over 100 emails a day to read this or that, and while I delete many of them, I always go to you. Thank you for sharing your past experience. Now I understand even better why I read your posts.
Thank you, Ray, for the comment and support. That's very kind of you, and you are most welcome. I will try to write more often, on a weekly basis, to analyze one of the leading geopolitical events of the previous week.
>>I learned a lot about the history and culture of both Russia and Ukraine, and I understood very well how these two neighbors are close siblings in the same Slavic family. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either a liar or ignorant.
Thanks for this, John. If the medieval Polish oligarchs hadn't sold out their people to the Catholic oligarchs to the west, Poles would today be standing in solidarity with their Slavic Orthodox brethren to the east. In fact, I consider the line between Europe and Asia to be the eastern borders of Italy, Austria and Germany. Using this partition scheme, the Ukraine certainly cannot be part of Europe if Poland isn't even European...Belarus clearly faces east, as well they should.
I wasn't aware of that. Very interesting. I also lived in Prague, and I know the Czechs used to be Orthodox and used the Cyrillic alphabet... until the Germans moved in about 1,000 years ago... Indeed, all the Slavs were Orthodox. The Vatican has a lot of apologizing and atonement to do, but I don't expect it any time soon....

I met you by pure chance through reading "Russians in Retreat - Panic in the Pentagon ..."
Your analyzes are so illuminating and understandable that I always find myself in harmony with what you expose.
Thank you for the kind and supportive comment. A pleasure to make your acquaintance here.
