Apparently during the Spanish Flu, the University of Denver was turned into a Methodist hospital. Last year, DU published part of one of the nurses diaries in which she wrote the Spanish Flu came out of nowhere and disappeared again in the same way. No-one knew exactly how to cure it, why some people caught it and why they died or recovered.
