It was interesting to see the Newsweek article which has a video of the Belarusian President talking with Putin about the Wagner group wanting to take a "tour" to Warsaw and a military base in Poland!
I think that currently is a diversion from the true plans of the Wagner group. They are more like to take a "tour" through Western Ukraine and cut off the fascist supply lines. Certainly the Wagner group is great for training private Belarusian militias to attack the bases set up in Poland for Belarusian "dissidents"/"refugees"/traitors to attack Belarus on behalf of NATO, but a successful militia attack against Poland doesn't seem feasible, at least not at this time.
There is an old joke in Poland about a Genie emerging from a bottle and telling a Pole he can grant him just one wish; the Pole's wish was for Genghis Khan to return and invade Poland again; when the Genie asked why he would want that, the Pole replied because it meant that the Mongolians would rape, pillage, and plunder Russia twice (once on the way to Poland and once on the way back). This joke provides an illustration of the great hatred Poles tend to have for Russians (desiring to inflict great suffering on Russians without regard to their own suffering that might result). It is truly a ridiculous Russophobia but long well promoted by the CIA and NATO.
Very good points. Suicidal Polish nationalism is a serious threat to all of Europe. It’s too bad, because the Poles have sometimes, and can still play, a constructive role in history. But overall as a nation, they seem devoid of wisdom and calculation; something which Putin excels in. We can all win if we work together — but alas, we’ve passed that point and it will take 50 years to repair the damage inflicted on western civilization by Biden and company.

There wasn't any talk of revenge on the Russians, there wasn't any discussion of the immediate expansion of NATO.
The Poles back then had enough of military "alliances" and being pawns in the "Grand Game" and just wanted to get on with building back their economy and nation.
But then the same forces which destabilized so many countries around the world, the Deep State decided for the Poles that it would be one of the bulwark countries to face the Russians when the time came.
You could see the scheming of the globalists and the CIA, all of a sudden in the late 2000s I started hearing about "polish pride" and "unaddressed grievances" from WW2 and even before that.
This came along with a push for Polish civil "militia" groups similar to what happened in Ukraine when what were basically soccer hoodlums were funded and organized into far-right Nazi militias which eventually become the Azov Battalion and other groups.
Of course in Poland the Nazi angle wouldn't fly considering what the Nazis did to the Poles in WW2.
But they still funded these ultra-nationalist groups in Poland and how that's being used by the same people who backed Ukraine into a corner.
I fully suspect Poland would have been sacrificed in an eventual escalation of the war and they might still be used by the Deep State and the CIA to try and push Russia into full escalation.
If I were Putin the one thing which could actually turn Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania against NATO is if Putin decided that the complete dissolution of Ukraine is to the benefit of the Russian Federation. In its place the central Ukraine would be the "new Ukraine", minus the Donbass and Crimean regions currently occupied. The new Ukraine would be in fact a giant DMZ, no military installations permitted and no occupation forces, only a self defense force.
The western region of Ukraine which was taken from Polish lands in 1924 would be offered back Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania going back to the pre-1924 border.
The alternative is that Russia takes over all of Ukraine eventually, and NATO would be facing the Russians directly in Poland.
Yes the ultra-nationalist faction of the Poles are kind of dumb, but they're not that stupid to think they'll survive facing the Russians directly, especially considering NATO has been effectively drained of it's reserve military capacity.
So the choice is, stop supporting NATO expansion and get your historical territory back or face a wall of steel at your front doorstep.

And then the mysterious crash in April 2010 that killed the Polish President, inciting even more Polish hatred of Russia. I wish I could interview Obama about Russia — I see him as one of the architects of this new Cold War. But why? Could it have something to do with his parents and their Soviet sympathies?
