I have just read a very good article written by Scott Ritter, posted at rt.com. Title is "Why did it take Russia so long to realize Donbass was worth fighting for?" Here is the link to the story:

Thanks. The answer to that question is easy. The Kremlin sincerely wanted to find a peaceful solution with the West and trusted the West. That was clearly a HUGE mistake.

Here we see the difference between the two states clearly shown. Russia wants to protect its own and it wants peace. Russia is the honorable and noble gentleman in the room. The West--primarily the US government--wants territory, wealth, and power through the means of violent attacks and war. The West is an unscrupulous scoundrel.

Thank you John, for telling us about the three men who have been accused falsely, lied about, slandered, and shackled--as in their freedom has been curtailed and robbed.

I had heard about Scott Ritter's outrageous attack as he attempted to leave for Russia to participate in the St. Peresburg Forum. They had the unlawful audacity to steal his passport!

I heard about this from Larry Johnson of Sonar 21, who was able to make it to the Forum, and from Judge Napolitano, who was advised not to go shortly before he was to go to the airport. I think Alex and Alexander at The Duran also talked about what happened to Scott.

John, do check out Larry Johnson's writing and videos posted on his website Sonar 21 while he was in St. Petersburg. He is on the same page with you about Russia being a very good place.

I thank you for your article, which I will now pass on to several folks.

Did you also see where the EU has formally requested/demanded that the ICC indict some Russians for calling Ukrainian nazis "nazis"? It would make for a great comedy, except it's true:

It's not just the right-wing parties that oppose the war on Russia and Russians; Jill Stein and the US Green Party are also for peace (as is in direct contrast to Germany's "Green" Party which promotes the most rabid hatred of Russia and Russians; Sahra Wagenknecht's new party is the only left-wing one in Germany that is for peace).

I wasn't aware of that ICC incident. And yes, good point about the US Green Party. In general, World Peace should not be a partisan issue. If the USA were truly a democratic country then peace would be top of our agenda in foreign policy.

Our gracious authorities straight out banned the Immortal Regiment. People went out and marched despite the ban. It's truly amazing what totalitarian propaganda has succeeded in doing -- calling facts disinformation and simply repeating it ad nauseam. Simple and clearly effective, as Goebbels knew well. But based on these three cases you detail, they might be starting to overdo it a little bit. They risk people starting to wonder what's actually happening. Hopefully.
