New York's Covid Calamity: The untold story of medical negligence

(This is an updated version of my article published in March 2021 on Medium before it harassed and censored me for writing a satirical article about Anthony Fauci and Pfizer, and closed my account. Which just proves the old adage — the Devil can’t stand to be mocked).

Nearly two years have passed since the Covid-19 ‘pandemic’ began. Tens of thousands of New Yorkers perished in spring 2020 in mysterious circumstances that still haven’t been fully investigated. Since then, about 800,000 American and 5.5 million global deaths have been attributed to Covid. More and more human rights activists openly call this “genocide”, and there’s a very good reason why they think that.

Today, we know that medical malpractice, corporate greed and bureaucratic incompetence top the list of reasons for the high death toll. It seems that certain policies have been implemented to kill as many people as possible. Whistleblowers in the medical profession, the findings of top scientists and investigative journalists all confirm this. Nevertheless, major media, Big Pharma, and western governments continue to spread disinformation and prevent further investigation. Even more, they heavily censor and threaten anyone who challenges their narrative.

By lavishing politicians with donations, health care companies and Big Pharma have secured a fierce grip over federal, state and city governments, as well as influenced the media by paying handsomely in the form of advertising to extol “Health Care Heroes”.

This report will focus on the hysteria in New York in spring 2020. It’s not an effort to malign the reputation of those doctors and nurses who saved lives. In fact, it’s written at the behest of such professionals who know that many hospitals made disastrous mistakes, often under orders from ‘above’ and which killed thousands.

Whistleblowers sound the alarm

At the height of the pandemic in New York in March and April 2020, fear swept the city and paralyzed otherwise rational and educated people. The World Health Organization (WHO), previously a minor organization in the United Nations, suddenly wielded enormous power and told governments, scientists and health care professionals how to manage Covid-19. Mind you, the WHO is headed by a man with alleged ties to terrorist groups in Africa, and the WHO cooperated closely with Communist China to conceal the pathogen’s true nature and origins.

The most prominent detail that comes to my mind from spring 2020 was the media clamoring for more ventilators, which were supposedly needed to keep patients alive as their lungs supposedly failed. We were told that fighting Covid was all about ventilators. For example, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo demanded 30,000 “vents” from President Trump, and the media fueled this madness and hysteria.

To stir up more fear, the media bombarded an uninformed and frightened public with images of patients lying prostrate in a hospital hooked up to a ventilator. The message was clear — this would be your fate unless you stayed home “to stop the spread”.

As New York sank deeper into madness, only one brave doctor dared to challenge the hysteria over ventilator use. Going public at great risk to his career and personal safety, Dr. Cameron Kyle-Sidell became the first Covid whistleblower when he posted a video on YouTube claiming that “vents” were killing Covid-19 patients.

“We’re operating under a medical paradigm that’s untrue,” said Dr. Kyle-Sidell in a video in early April 2020. “We’re treating the wrong disease. I fear this misguided treatment will lead to a tremendous amount of harm to a great number of people.”

“I talked to doctors around the country and it’s increasingly clear that the [air] pressure we’re providing is hurting their lungs,” added Dr. Kyle-Sidell. He soon left his hospital saying that: “I couldn’t morally… continue the current protocols that are the protocols of the top hospitals in the country.”

Several weeks later, a frontline nurse, known as Sara NP, echoed what Dr. Kyle-Sidell was saying, and said the city was “killing patients” with ventilators. “It’s a horror movie. Not because of the disease, but because of the way it’s being handled.” Sarah used a friend to speak on her behalf, because she’s in hiding.

“[Sara] has never seen so much neglect; the staff are cold and don’t care,” said her friend. “The patients don’t know any better. They don’t have family with them. No one can advocate for them.”

How did Big Tech react to Sara NP? Did they praise her as a “hero frontline worker”? No. YouTube lashed out and attacked her, censoring her video and removing it for “violating community standards”.

“People are sick, but they don’t have to stay sick. [Hospitals] are killing them, they’re not helping them,” added Sara’s friend. “Patients are left to rot and die. People are being murdered and no one cares.”

Indeed, months later, an analysis of Covid-19 patients in New York hospitals found bone-chilling results. Among the 2,634 Covid patients for whom outcomes were known, the death rate was 21%. But that figure rose to 88% for patients on a ‘vent’.

This whistleblowing set off a contentious discussion among doctors and nurses, but Big Tech tried its best to keep a lid on this controversy. As these videos circulated on the internet, YouTube and Facebook unleashed the full force of their censors. Only a few major media paid brief attention to what Dr. Kyle-Sidell and nurse Sara were saying, and even then, they soon moved on, instead of investigating the claims.

Nevertheless, Kyle-Sidell’s public appeal gathered steam among doctors and nurses who still had integrity. More and more stepped forward to support them. Nearly four weeks after Dr. Kyle-Sidell stirred up controversy, the ventilator protocols were improved, and something incredible happened — the Covid death rate soon plummeted in New York. The correlation was clear. The ventilators had been killing people. If the incorrect use of ventilators continued, the carnage in New York and elsewhere across the USA could have reached apocalyptic proportions.

So, why had hospitals and doctors been given the wrong ventilator protocols in the first place? Who sent out those deadly protocols? And why has no one been held accountable for the carnage caused by their misuse? I have no conclusive answer and even worse, no one in authority seems to care or is investigating.

Nurses confront the lies

Other brave nurses started coming forward, such as U.S. Army veteran Erin Marie Olszewski who said that Elmhurst Hospital in Queens, (New York), failed to properly isolate coronavirus patients. That hospital had one of the worst body counts in New York City, and was referred to as “the epicenter of the epicenter”.

Located in one of the city’s poorest areas, the hospital has long had a bad reputation. In 2017, a nurse wrongly punctured a patient’s arm, a mistake that led to amputation. Even though experts had been predicting a pandemic for almost 20 years, Elmhurst Hospital was woefully unprepared, just like the entire city which failed to make use of the many resources available.

“They were using [Covid tests] which had a five to 10-day turnaround,” and not rapid testing, said Olszewski. “In the meantime, patients were put on floors and were intermingled with Covid positive patients.”

“We had options [to house patients] that weren’t utilized,” added Olszewski. “For instance, the Comfort ship, the Javits Center,” and etc. Why wouldn’t Elmhurst utilize the free available space? Because hospitals are well paid for each Covid patient. Why let a lucrative ‘asset’ (the patient) go to another institution…

Safe and effective Covid cures

COVID malpractice extends to one more evil — a refusal to use safe and effective treatments. Frontline doctors have been using these treatments in Republican-controlled states. However, in Democratic-ruled states, where COVID deaths have been very high, these safe and effective treatments are usually forbidden.

As early as May 2020, frontline doctors knew how to treat COVID successfully, and were touting HCQ, Ivermectin, anti-inflammatories and steroids as effective treatments. My personal doctor, who is a frontline doctor, also told me this in early June 2020, but he whispered this information to me as if revealing a state secret.

What was the problem? Why the fear? Because most safe and effective treatments were forbidden by Party bureaucrats in states under Democratic rule, and their media were bizarrely attacking the proven cures as “dangerous” and “unproven”. Frontline doctors were astonished and called this situation “evil”.

“New York doctors weren’t able to prescribe HCQ. The main treatment in Elmhurst Hospital was to put these patients on a vent. They refused to try any alternative treatments even though they were successful in other states,” said nurse Olszewski. “I’m from Florida. My hospital there treated patients successfully with HCQ and Zinc, with a completely different number of deaths.”

HCQ is an antimalarial drug that frontline doctors say is effective in stopping Covid. Also, Ivermectin is a safe medicine used for decades to remove parasites. Frontline doctors repurposed Ivermectin to treat Covid, and about 20 scientific studies on thousands of patients showed favorable results in treating and preventing Covid.

Another frontline nurse whistleblower, Nicole Sirotek, (photo below), also worked in New York City. She says “black lives don’t matter” in city hospitals — and “gross negligence and complete medical mismanagement” caused many deaths.

For example, she saw an anesthesiologist improperly intubate a patient, and when the doctor was informed of the matter, he ignored it. The patient died. Another time, a patient was wrongly given chest compressions and died. Yet another patient got the wrong insulin and died. When Sirotek advocated for her Black and Hispanic patients, she was taken off their cases.

“They don’t care what’s happening to these people. I just watched them die,” said Sirotek. “Stay out of New York City for health care. They don’t care what’s happening to these people. It’s like the f–king Twilight Zone.”

Covid is BIG business and BIG bucks

Each year an estimated 250,00 to 400,000 Americans are killed by medical negligence, according to Johns Hopkins University and the American Medical Association. This makes medical mistake the third leading cause of death. To put that into context — that’s about 15% of all deaths in the U.S. for any given year.

Soon after the pandemic began, all 50 state governments gave hospital personnel immunity from any negligence related to Covid. However, this measure only ended up giving an incentive to hospital personnel to classify any problematic death as “Covid”, which of course is what happened.

“The state almost encourages healthcare providers to categorize a death as ‘Covid’ to wrap themselves in immunity,” said Charles Cooper, a partner at the law firm of Cooper and Elliott in Ohio.

Covid has been a huge money-making business from the start. The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act pays hospitals for patients with Covid, and reimburses health care providers for uninsured Covid patients. The situation becomes worse and more ominous when it concerns patients on vents. Minnesota State Senator Scott Jensen said that Medicare pays hospitals three times as much if patients are placed on ventilators, which also explains their widespread negligence and misuse.

“How can anyone not believe that artificially increasing the number of Covid-19 deaths may create an avenue for states to receive a larger portion of federal dollars,” wrote Jensen, who was quickly vilified by media loyal to the Democratic Party.

Indeed, Democratic politicians have been happy to help hospitals inflate the number of cases and make more money. Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker told a press conference: “if the deceased died in a motorcycle accident and we found Covid in their system — that’s a Covid death; if someone goes into hospice for something not related to Covid and lives two days but then we find Covid in their system, that’s also a Covid death.”

Post Scriptum

We now see how sick and corrupt the American medical system is; how it operates on a cynical and immoral business model that seems to come from the depths of Mordor. This ‘pandemic’ could easily have ended if we had honest political, medical and scientific leadership and a responsible media.

One day in autumn 2020, I was at my son’s baseball game and was talking to another father. I asked him what he does professionally. He was a little agitated and said: “My wife and I have a company that makes parts for hospital ventilators”. Then his face became distorted, revealing discomfort. He breathed deeply and whispered solemnly: “Turns out they were killing a lot of people with those ventilators.”

I was speechless. I felt I had heard a state secret that I shouldn’t be hearing. In order not to make him even more uncomfortable, I didn’t answer or ask more questions. Thousands of people were killed by ventilators, but the media, medical industry and politicians don’t care and covered it up and still prevent independent investigations.

At this point, I don’t fault those New York doctors and nurses who made mistakes. They were operating in an atmosphere of mass hysteria and fear-mongering that radiated from the media and City Hall, and with deadly protocols from WHO.

In a country where about 95% of major media are loyal to the Democratic Party, which controls New York City, the heart and soul of the U.S. media industry, no journalist will dare tackle this issue. Investigative journalism is essentially dead in the U.S.

What does this mean for you and me? It means that no lessons have been learned from the events of spring 2020. It means that New Yorkers can’t trust their media and can’t trust their health system. It means that New York is a scary dystopian city where your life is worthless and can easily be sacrificed to score political points and generate vast profits for Big Pharma and the healthcare industry.
